I graduated from Lanse Creuse High School in 1975. During my senior year, I worked as a co-op student at Allstate Insurance Company where I had the opportunity to work with Allstate’s law firm to assist them with legal matters. I enjoyed working in the field of law and decided to pursue this as my career path.
In 1981 I took a secretarial position in a small law office in the Grosse Pointe area whose practice concentrated on estate planning, probate and trust administration. I was with the firm for over 24 years and assisted in all areas of the practice including working closely with the attorneys and the clients in all aspects of estate planning and probate and trust administration. I have filed pleadings with many of the probate courts and conferred with the Judges, their staff and court administrators. I have expertise in preparing petitions, inventories and accounts for attorney’s approval and filing. I continue to attend seminars and conferences in the estate planning and probate fields to enhance my skills. In addition to my paralegal duties I was also the office manager and assisted with all areas of managing a law firm. I joined Gaggos Law Firm, P.C., in 2009 and work directly with Mr. Gaggos in all areas of the firm’s practice. I enjoy the field of estate planning, probate and trust administration as it allows me the opportunity to meet a variety of people and to be able to assist them through times that can be challenging. I enjoy gardening, antiquing and spending time with my two children and my large extended family.
